Long Beach MC Show Photo

Looking for my free tickets for December's Long Beach Show,

I glanced at their media/gallery photo taken in the parking lot last year.

This sure looks like my '03 FJR???

Why they chose this one out of the thousands of beautiful bikes

is a wonder to me. Cool that they thought it was more attractive than a hog.

A mailer came around with an entry code for free tickets.

I entered it on the website. Who knows? Free is good.

Used to get discount tickets all over for this thing.

Not many FJR's in HB. Barabus is the only one I see on the

member map and I haven't spoken to him yet.

I recognised the GPS mount, seat and the powder coated wheels.

Pretty much an early retiree, 57, so I'm open for rides. Riding tomorrow to the

Rock Store (Latigo, Stunt, Tuna Cyn) with some of my surf buddies (ST1300, Concours, BMW).

This wind is really howlin' now............. Maybe it will die off tonight.

Fairlaner,Thanks for the discount tip.......... I didn't really think I was going to get the

4 free tickets but it might off set the cost of those hot dogs and cokes <_< .

I'll be looking for that RED FJR jacket while I'm trying out sittin' on all

the new bikes........... :yahoo:

That's a fun ride. Was there a few weeks ago and some of those road are real goat trails. Saw reports of a 72mph wind gust in an OC canyon, so be really careful. No more FJR go down this year.

Jill,Great photo of you on your FJR.

What made me think it was mine was the GPS post on the left side bar, the silver wheels

and the Corbin seat. I'm not sayin' it's great, there are a few out there. I hustled to park it

because I got stuffed me in traffic and lost my buddies in the sea of bikes.
