Since it is hot as hell out, has anyone installed a cup holder?

I got myself one of them there fancy modular helmets and with the fairing up it would be easy to sip on something cold (using a straw) while riding but I can't figure out a good spot for a cup holder. Anyone have any ideas?

Sure, but on the Super Tenere:

It can be used for other essential stuff too.

Used a cup holder on my first 2 gold Wings. Not any more. It's just not enough in the summer between gas stops.

I got these panniers after they were talked about here several weeks ago. I think they'll be great for carrying extra water when I'm on long, solo rides. First time out with them will be Friday.

I'm also a long-time CamelBak user. I started with those several years ago for hiking and mountain biking. I bought my tank bag because it has a water bladder like those made by CamelBak.

Hydrate or die. It only took once, me running out of water hiking in Arizona, for me to learn my lesson.
