I ordered a set of Avon Storms on the evening of 5/13/2007 (after close of business if they're open on a Sunday). On Monday 5/14/2007 I received an email stating that they were out of my tires due to a west coast shortage.

"Peter due to a west coast AVon shortage, I will not be able to ship

your tires until wednesday. That means you will probably have them on

thursday.

If that is too slow just email me to cancel

I received shipment notice on 5/15/2007 and this morning, before 0830, the tires were at my door. Too slow????? Holy crap. Even with a delay as they perceive it, I was happy to get my order on Wednesday. I'm so used to tires arriving by ground a week or more after I order them. This type of customer service and follow-up (without me having to hound them down) is fantastic. This was my first order from SWMOTO and it will not be my last.

Just so others know, I think shipping is free only if you order 2 tires (or more). I concur, I've used SWM a couple of times and they're like TWN's ho's... cheap and fast.
