    Phantom Blue Matte Paint encounter

For what its worth, I have a mat finish on my FJ-09 and found that a product called TopCoat works great. They sell on thier web site. I have been using it since this bike was new and love the results. I am going replace my '05 FJR with one just like yours later in the new year. Can't wait.

The bike is really good and I would like it to go to a good home. Perhaps this lower price will help, and I am open to offers.

    '05 FJR1300 For Sale Beaverton, OR-$3000.00--SOLD

I didn't think you were, and it was excellent advice. I loved this bike for many years, still do, and it was a stellar and trouble free traveling companion. It still has many, many miles left to give. I hope I can find someone that will appreciate it and continue using it for a long time to come.

Hi TominPA, I suspect you are right, But I do not have the stock cans, as I sold them when I replaced them with the Leo Vince's. (With the quiet tips it really sounds good, but won't scare the kids) the Power Commander with custom map goes with them of course. All the other stuff make this...

    OR WA Lane Sharing Legistlation

I always note that in discussions regarding lane sharing it is ALWAYS brought up that many car drivers are not safe, and that is a reason to not allow it. I wonder why the motorcycle riders are always penalized, not allowed to use there bikes to best advantage because of this... And no comments...

It's time for the NW Winter get together again!

Carl, Thanks for getting this together. It was fun seeing old friends and meeting new ones. What a great choice of locations for a Moto gang, way cool bikes all over the place and pretty good food as well. I hope everyone that braved the weather to actually ride from Seattle and other parts...

It's time for the NW Winter get together again!

Earlier is fine with me if it allows more folks to attend… It's a Saturday, so that should work for most and help with old bones and weather issues. Speaking of weather, I just got back to PDX from SF, my usual monthly work commute. I'll be doing it again the week of 17th. If anyone has any...

    road to windyridge

Ty, Sorry you couldn't make it. A bunch of us met in Washougal and stood around complaining about it being overcast. Of course most of us complained about it being too hot just a few days ago... You would think none of us had any experience with NW weather... despite the low clouds, we took off...

Ken, Meet up at what time Friday morning? If you ride fast enough you won't wear out the tires... Because you will be on the edges most of the time.
