Looked at Yamaha's site and they're doing demo rides for the FJR, FZ1, and the FZ6 in the sporty bikes. I got to try the FZ1. I hope this is for real. Kinda like a punk kid in a candy store eh? I'll probably get stuck in the info booth again and have those darn umbrella girls in front of us all day. PM. <>< :yahoo:

Well, LC has learned he should transmit his riding plans to his spouse more than two weeks prior to the event. (You'd think after 42 years I would have known that...) Upon informing my wife of my plans to attend the Bike Show she asked me if I could would be able to do so and still be in Portland, OR by Six P.M. to pick up her sister...We are all going to the Tri-Cities for thanksgiving with her sisters.... I told her I didn't think it would be possible for me to drive to Portland by 6:00 and still go to the MC show...She said, "Exactly".

So, maybe next year. :cray:

I'm looking pretty questionable for this myself. I have to work until 0800 Saturday, so breakfast's out, and I'd probably miss all the good early-bird action with the FJR buddies. As I'm not in the market for a new bike....why go? I hear San Mateo gas hit $4.00/gal today.
