Hey...I don't do anything to warrant being named in such esteemed company! The Pegscrapers did all the work for the first 2, the Hmarc and Warchild for #3 at Moscow, Sharp led #4 @ Skagit and then the "blossom" event last year with Warchild and Hmarc.

Iggy and Warchild are doing a lot behind the scenes (again) with the web design and all the necessary and tedious computer work. TWN can attest to that.

The leaders set the tone by their tireless efforts. The rest of us just volunteer and show up to help. There are many people who give their time and energies to these functions (ocfjr, SkooterG, beeroux, Iron Maiden, Mr. Lisa, etc.), I just happen to be visible (Though I don't know why, being such a quiet and retiring sort.). But its the attendees that make it all worth while. If it wasn't for the fun and comraderie that take place at these events, they wouldn't happen at all.

Remember: You meet the nicest people on an FJR!

Yeah, well said, Mikey, but in the end, it's all of the participants that really make The Event what it is. Personally, I'm sorry to have 'put-off' WFO-3 & 4... I missed a couple of great events for sure, not to mention the opportunity of meeting some fine folks. Since, I've had the great pleasure to meet many of you, but still, some things you only get one shot at. Don't miss the chance.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mad Mike 2 on the Sacramento New Year's Day ride, which he kindly organized. During that ride, my first Forum ride, I believe I came to know MM2 a little. Allow me to share with you in words and pictures the special qualities I think I learned about Mad ("Teddy Bear") Mike that day:

Jb

James Burleigh, you had MsNASCAR and me in stitches with your captions. We know MM2 and what you posted could fit his alter ego.

Yo JB!

That was fukin hilarious! You nailed him!

I mean even TWN won't be caught dead around MM wearing his *Nancy Pants*!

Hans, these were all funny as hell! :haha:

The other captions were a bit off character, but the first two (and maybe even the last) were just spot on, wonderfully accurate satire!

Um, may I remind you all that Mikey is in charge of security at WFO-6? It's not nice to fool with the one who has the keys to the garage... Just a thought. ;)

Other than that, yeah dat's funizzle, fo' shizzle!

In this particular case, it is exactly what I say it is: the ISP has made some server changes that have caused all web forms to stop rendering. The page tries to loads but just hangs there, eventually causing a timeout. The Contact Us page is the same way.

As it happens, I was just contacted by their Tech Support on this matter; check it out:

Hello,

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience, however, we're unable to replicate the issue for troubleshooting purposes as you have disabled the code:

"Registration temporarily disabled due to a server configuration problem.

A support ticket has been issued by the web hosting provider"

Please re-enable your code and let us know when we can replicate the issue for troubleshooting, as it's almost impossible to fix an issue we can't replicate.
Isn't that special? :glare:

So... I re-enabled the code as requested, so now when you go to the registration page, it does nothing but spin and spin and spin and spin and spin and spin.... until a timeout occurs. Nice.
