Sorry all, I will not be able to make this, but it sure looks like fun.

I will be in New Mexico during this time. I signed up for my first rally the Land of Enchamnent 1000 for the same weekend, so I will not be a rally virgin.

Ditto on the good luck part for the rally!

Hey, Lori, PM me your address and I'll send you a CD of my NAFO pics.

Count me in.

FYI, this will be my first FJR gathering since acquiring the FJR last summer.

Not trying to be an outcast at my first gathering, but procrastination and budget constraints will have me finding alternative accommodations.

Camping anyone??

Was hoping to attend some "official" FJR gathering this Summer. After all, I've put over 5k miles on the thing so far. Alas, there's a big search & rescue conference on this same weekend which I'll be attending so won't be able to make this. Have been looking forward to putting some faces wit' the names.

I am unable to attend TWN's memorial. This event being the next weekend, I plan to celebrate Tim's life on this trip, via the ride and his favorite beverage...after hours. Hope some of you can join me.

I'll be joining you for that. I'm unable to attend the memorial since I'm already registered for an IBA gathering in Boise the same weekend.

Good idea _pig. I am also unable to attend the memorial service...too many other obligations. We'll plan on hoisting one with the group.

Proud of you J. Remember... no coke to sweeten, just a splash of water, eh?

Earlier I was unable to post or reply to this site, otherwise I would have posted that I would like to share a room. I then decided to go ahead and book a room for myself at the Imperial, but the $149/night rate for the rooms that were left changed my mind. I searched the web and found that the River Run Lodge had rooms available for $85/night. My room has a queen bed and two twins, fridge, micro and river view balcony. I would be willing to share this room or split a room at the Imperial with someone. I don't know how far I will be from the Imperial, but I will be on the same side of the river. Looking forward to the rides and meeting a bunch of fellow riders.

I went on a similar trip with a group of 4 riders from Portland last summer. Three riding Ducatis and one a Triumph Sprint. We met several hundred other riders in Fossil Friday night and the organizers handed out maps showing the route for the Saturday ride. The ride route started in Fossil and went through Condon, where we spent the night, Heppner, Ukiah and finally ending in Redmond. My group left this ride after Ukiah and spent the night at Unity Lake State Park. Sunday we rode to Boise for a barbacue with a common friend and back to Portland on Monday. Great riding country.

What the hey, ice cubes is water ain't they?

I doubt if anyone cares, but I will have to cancel my reservation. I just received a call from a friend in Boise and he wants me to join him for a trip to thr Redwoods. Since I will be missing my wife's 50th high school reunion, I am afraid she might not understand if I take another trip the following week. I may ride up for the day just to meet some of the attendees.

From what I can tell, the Imperial River Co. is now 65% booked (16 of 25 rooms; 9 rooms remaining). Hopefully, those are all FJR riders!

See you all soon!

I got a cabin down the road for $40. The $150 rate at the Imperial was a bit much for my wallet and for just me. I'm still saving for retirement and don't have much time left to build the pot. Camping may have been even better, but I didn't have a connection to the Camp Site, anyway, I hate bugs.

UHH, maybe for $40 I"ll be still fighting the bugs! :(
