I can't say for sure when it will be televised but in the past few years there have been some long stoppages during the race for various reasons. This happened a couple of years ago when I was at Daytona due to a tire selection issue. Because it took so long for the race to get started again...

If you are going to head toward Daytona make sure you ride through the Ocala National Forest on the way. There are some nice roads and I like to smell the pine trees.
