I'm replacing the funeral escort red/blue flashing lights that came on my 2020 with HID lights I took off my 04. I had my 04 set up so the driving lights only came on with the high beams with relays but examining the Gen 4 schematics the Hi/Lo switch switches internal circuitry in the headlight control units and I don't want to tap into that and I'm not sure of the internal voltage and amperage. Has anyone done this with LED headlights?
I really like being able to switch to low beams and killing the driving lights at the same time.

I did something similar with my aux lights. Mine are switchbacks so I have them set up to come on yellow when the low beams are on and flip to white when I turn on the high beams. I used the high beam adapter from Clearwater lighting. It's plug-n-play and was only $15 when I got mine.

Thanks! I was thinking about rewiring the Hi/Lo switch to run a couple of relays, one to switch the wires the Hi/Lo is switching now but that adaptor looks simple and easier to undo if needed.

Absolutely. It is truly plug-n-play.
