I have posted more pictures at the Craigslist posting. Taking the original pictures in the sun made it look like the Smuggler has flaws in the paint that aren't there. I also forgot to mention that two keys and instructions come with the Smuggler.

No issues with the Smuggler. Life changes and I had to leave my job because of health issues. The Smuggler has been great for commuting to work and came in handy taking my stuff to work. It also was nice to have a place for storing my Nelson Rig 1/2 cover in case it was needed. Lost two...

What brand of tires? How many miles? If you search here you will find more posts on tires than you will care to read. New Michelin PR2 tires made a night and day difference in the way my bike handled.

Got mine Tuesday, it's looks good and it's nice to have the saddle bags off. Now if I could only get it back off the bike :rolleyes:

Cylinder 3 is not adjustable, set cylinders 1,2 and 4 so they are in sync with cylinder 3.

Just talked to Corbin and they claim that they don't have the smuggler for Gen II FJR's. Do you have a part number for your smuggler?

Welcome to the FJR forum Dick. Many here have found that the steering nut was loose right from the factory. You can verify if the nut is loose by sitting in front of your bike with the tire between your legs and pulling on the folks front to back to see if there is any movement. You will need...

Just put Michelin Primacys on our outback and love them. Got them from Americas best with a $70 rebate. They matched Costco as well. Really quiet tire and good handling tires.

I checked the connections at the battery and they were tight. I haven't been able to locate where the negative cable is bolted to the engine. My SM shows it being attached with bolt #8 on the right lower part of the motor, I can't see it, maybe I need to remove more plastic.

It feels like the bike is running out of gas. Checked for diagnostic codes and found fault code 14, which is "intake air pressure sensor: hose system malfunction (clogged or detached hose). I have a grounding harness kit on the way for the spider issue. I tried to clear the history but...

If your bike still has the OEM tires, a new set of quality tires will make a big difference in handling and the effort needed to counter steer your bike. The bike is top heavy and slow speed turns will be tricky. Lot of threads about tires in the "Never-ending Pointless Recurring Threads"...
