I think you may be referring to these. They came on the bike when I bought it, can't find them for sale online. Just a ball and socket that sticks really well to the mirrors.

Well it's supposed to be almost 80 degrees on Friday with the day off work, can't let a perfect December day go to waste, so not sure yet but I'll find somewhere to ride and somewhere to eat.

The weather at this point looks like it may be great, 60-70's with a chance rain Saturday. Haven't seen any hotel's suggested yet, been looking at the Google maps to get an idea of what's close to the forest campground. Seems like Lufkin is the closest city, and right between the two forests...

Holy crap, did they design that 4" mechanical monster back in the 70's? The Texas version is a 2" sticker that I keep in the glovebox and it picks it up fine there.

Great pics. They were in DFW last weekend and were flying overhead for quite some time as I was riding around in the area, gave a bit of Tom Cruise on his bike in Top Gun moment.

Is there a reason to spend hundreds of $'s to buy aftermarket pipes, other than having them louder, give a different look, and maybe a couple more hp? My Two Bros seemed too loud the first few hundred miles, but now they're music to my ears.

I would vote for the tipover insurance of the rear case guards. With the cases installed the big loops look acceptable, but a lot of the time I ride without the cases, in which case they protrude out of the sides with nothing else around them and look like a couple of Dumbo ears.

I might add, if you want to round out the man cave, maybe run a cable TV line out there to catch the games.
