My RF1100 XL won't fit

Once I did the complete Cromeit fix on my '03 it cooled it right down. I really didn't think it was too bad before though. Only thing that got me was on my left shin during summertime here in Fla. Cromeit fix that.

Yeah, me either! In all the bikes I've had, I have never changed out the washers ever. Never had a leak and have never had one on the FJR, truck, any car, anything! I say save your money!

Yeah, I'm aware that my Gen 1 doesn't have the spyder issues. I'm asking on behalf of 2 friends that have Gen II's that will most probably end up in my garage that I'll be sorting out! Just educating myself before hand! lol Thanks!

Does cleaning and greasing with silicone grease help with the prevention of the ground spyder issues? How many spyders are on the FJR?

Mine does it with worn/cupped tires. It's fine straight up, but as soon as you lean it a little either way you get a buzzing or roar lets say. As soon as new tires are installed, It's all good again!

OK, I've owned my '03 since 6/05. Always park in garage and occasionally out with C/stand, never a problem! What's the dif in yrs?

I'm still perfectly happy with my '03! I don't have ECM problems, jerkiness, ground spider problems, or any of the other little problems the Gen II seam to have! AND it's lighter and faster too! lol
