I don't understand this big tank thing. For me the standard tank has more range than my seat. I've got to get off and move about a bit long before my tank is empty. I'm not riding anywhere where the gas stations are 300 miles apart. If you want to go more than 300 miles between stops the ride has gone beyond pleasurable for me to being an unpleasant chore.

When I am towing the trailer 2 up carrying decent speed in the back country, it is a stretch to get 150 miles out of a tank, and there are quite a few place out west here that you would not make it to the next gas station. I don't want to carry a spare gas can in the trailer. I would rather have it in the tank where it belongs.

A good seat, suspension and ergonomics adjusted correctly makes a 300 mile run easy.

The wife uses it as a back rest.
