Do the Gen Mar bar risers require lengthening the brake hose?

They raise the bars one inch and didn't require any longer hoses on my 2007 when I installed them. I haven't tried my 2020 FJR, but it looks like the same setup. The instructions I downloaded show cutting the cable loop to allow more movement in the hoses/cables. Don't remember if I did that, but it would be easy enough to do.
