Spotted this AM, in response to an ad posted yesterday in the Twin Cities Craigslist Jobs section.

Warning to all auto techs. Stay FAR FAR AWAY from Lenny.

This is FAR from a reputable shop as he states. He rigs customers cars and tells them they are fixed right. He is a HACK and will make you do some of the poorest work you have ever done. It IS a junk yard. You will be dismantling wrecked cars. You will be working outside in all weather. Pouring rain/blazing sun. On your back in the mud. All you need for tools is a hammer and a cutting torch. He is taking advantage of all the out of work auto techs and overall poor economy.

Oh how many times I would have liked to do something like that if I had the guts!!

(Could someone start posting the 'we don't have both sides of the story' comments now. This post has been up for 20 minutes and not one! You reasonable people are really slipping. )

were a small reputable shop located in st croix falls wi. we are looking for a RELIABLE auto tech to work full or part time. must have tools and be able to perform all mechanic related duties including diagnostics. towing experiance is a plus as we are also a tow company... must have 2+ years shop experiance and have good referances pay will be based on ability and experiance.. we are a fully equipped shop. we will be taking calls during buisness hours only! call lenny at 715 483 9947 or 715 557 0855 or email [email protected]
