I'm heading out on a 3000 mile run next week, thought I'd lube up the pivot points of the rear shock. First thing I notice is the nut fastening the shock bottom bolt to the cast rising rate casting is less than finger tight!!! looking at it, it appears to be a nylo-nut, but the nylon is missing. Am I correct in this?

Also, what would be the correct torque spec on this?

Thanks very much guys!

Steve

Correct, the stock lower shock mount is a nyloc. If it moveable with a finger...it's time for a new nut.
