For a Corbin heated seat, their kit adds a 15A fuse for the seat connected at the fusebox for the turn signal. The seat amps do not flow through the turn signal fuse. Basically, it replaces one fuse with two separately connected fuses connected to the hot side of the box at the turn signal (on when the key is on.)
