I made a prototype last weekend and have not yet had a chance to try it out for usability/durability. Stay tuned.

Does anyone else think it strange that all of us grown men check this thread every day or so on the odd chance we can be the first to add a small piece of metal to our stands? See you all tomorrow. :dribble:

I might have got into this thread a little late. Should we send money or wait until product is finalized? Thanks!

Wait. Ian won't sell a product until he is pretty darned sure peeps will be happy. Nor until he has some on hand. This is a second "job" for him in his part time. So patience is called for.

I had a little drink with some friends last week - so I ended up staying over at their place.

When I went out in the morning I noticed that the bike seemed to be sitting at a 'funny' angle.

In the dark, the night before, I parked on an area of black top that had been used to patch a recent dig (but siince it was dark, I didn't notice this). In the morning, my bike must have been half way between the 'good angle' and the 'critical point'. The stand had drilled itself into the soft black-top by about an inch, maybe more. I'm sure the footplate would have helped.....

What a bummer that would have been ......

My Skyway Sir .............. I'm looking forward to this fine piece of engineering - I'd rather be using your side stand footplate than your sliders!!!

cheers - Bull
