Once I have put it all together, I will distribute it to everyone on the list. I already have Neil San Diego and fjr charger's information to start. We have finally had some good ride leadership come forward in SOCAL and because of that, some really great and fun rides. It would be neat to add to the numbers and at the same time, share the burden of planning these rides. The list will not be used for any other purpose other than that stated above. NO SPAMMING PLEASE!

We started this list back in July and now have 90 riders on it. I can say that I have had the pleasure of meeting and riding with over half of you on this list with the largest ride so far being to Borrego Springs with 24 bikes and 25 people involved in the ride. I look forward to what the next few months bring as far as group rides go and encourage all of you on the list that are on facebook to join the SOCAL FJR Riders Group on their as well. Looks like the 08A's still hold the lead on this list. Thanks for all you inputs for making the list better. Ride safe, keep the shiny side up and the wind at your back.

I just wanted some of you to know to be careful adding your personal info in an open forum and not sending the info by PM. There are people who are on the internet who can use this information to do bad things. Just a reminder to use the PM feature.

This is an excellent reminder. Also, if you PM me the information, it remains private, will only be given to the rest of the group and will get a quicker response as I am not on here as much as I used to be.

The problem I have with Facebook is people send invitations without adding "FJR1300" so I don't have any idea who they are. When requesting friends it might be a good idea to include FJR1300/City,St. in the invite.

I'm also not getting any distributed emails about rides from Facebook. I'm not a regular user of any of the social networking apps. Do we have to login to get ride notifications?

I'm trying to locate the Facebook group. A search for FJR1300 turns up six groups and not of them say "CA" or SoCal.

Andrew,

It is listed under your groups, or should be. It is SOCAL FJR Riders Group. What I will do, is once I confirm someone just added to the list as a friend on fb, I will then send out friend suggestions to the rest of the fb group. So if you are getting the friend suggestion from me, it is one of the folks from the list and fb group. I won't send friend suggestions for a non group person to someone in the group.

Dave

Okay, I added one more new member to the list. Don't forget, a lot of you are now on facebook and there is a SOCAL FJR Riders Group there as well. We are now up to 92 on the list.

I have added 3 more fields to fill in on the spreadsheet. Two are optional but if the information is available would be invaluable in an emergency. The fields that I have added are: facebook account Y/N, Medicine Allergies and Blood Type.

I will be sending out the updated list shortly which is now up to 95 members. I changed Jdog's bike from the 05 to the BUSA so that we have a fairly correct listing of the bikes everyone rides.
