Ya know.....sometimes I think that they just don't pay me enough to be a terrorist. I still have credit card bills for christ's sake. Someone shoot me. Make sure that it isn't jack bauer. As a terrorist....that is the worst.

:eh:

You rule, spine....till jack bauer get's ya. Otherwise, you rule, dude. And, all them new 06 feejers in truck 657884 can burn....who needs integrated abs anyways....with no clutch, no less.....let them drown.

Like I said before Spine.....your avatar = my tire, your face :p :p

Waiter baiters go piss into the wind, I hate you all, I think Im gonna cry :D :D

The waiter baiters are just jealous. They know deep in thier dark little hearts that we waiters will soon be in possesion of a vastly superior motorcycle to that low tech, ticking, nut searing, wind buffeting excuse of a cycle they sit upon!! :p :D :D :D

I'm just doing back what was done to me last year when I was waiting... :D

At least you all know exactly what youre getting. The proud and few of us who bought '03s bought blind. But we got the best of the best.

Go ahead and keeping thinking that, ya heat-blasting, ticking, non-ABS, stickin'-out-turnsignal, panthy-thilver thon-uva-bitth. :D

Uhm, heavier and over-geared. And according to the Euro posts, the wind-buffet is diminished, but not gone. And, just to burst your non-ticker bubble, the engines came out of the same bin-O'-parts. So, youse is payin' more for a heavier, slower improved bike. :D It's the American Way, Yowza! :haha:

And you are waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waitning and waiting  . Waiting really really really really really sucks. Then you get your FJR and on the ride home you begin to grin in your full-face helmet until your cheeks hurt. You will get up in the middle of the night and walk/run to the garage just to look at your bike and smile. People at work will think you have been taking Viagra, but the symptoms you exhibit are "FJR Ownership". Welcome to the club!

Trust me, it will be all you hoped it to be. You'll love the torque and abilities of your bike. It'll just never be a classic like the '03s (the owners of which we all owe a vote of gratitude for breaking new ground so the lineage will continue) even if some, like Tinker, have replaced their engine and some, like Rogdeb, have painted theirs.

In the mean time, while you are waiting, we are riding, smiling and riding and smiling! :D We feel your pain...really. ;) :rolf:

Bwaahahaha!! Struck a waiter baiter nerve!! Take that you big bully!! :D :D

Slower, heavier, more $, perhaps a ticker in the waiting, buffeting.....and I still cant freakin wait to get the dang thang!! Like a junkie in need of a fix, I will take what I can get and be happy. ;) I think this might turn out to be my most enjoyable bike yet. Looking forward to traveling 'FAR and FAST'.

To whom we also owe a debt of gratitude for getting all those lame-ass '03's out of the showrooms, off the docks and out of MamaYama's inventory so we '04 owners could enjoy the newer, improved model. (unlike the '05 owners who only got parts-bin '04s with an ugly blue paint job)

Uhhh, nope, just an opportunity to throw more "chum" on the waiter water! :D

@ RadioHowie, ever had a chance to run against a comparably ridden '03? Bring an extra pair of shorts because it ain't our doors likely to be blown off! I think I will go with the Benevolent Dictator's "hind-o-meter" on this one. I've had an '04 and an '05. Not much difference, except the blue is prettier but harder to keep clean. Then again, a dirty bike means you've been out riding rather than parking and polishing.
