    That's good to know. Thanks.

I found another reason to hate deer

Be careful. You don't need to hunt to get the ticks. A couple of years ago my dogs bought about ten ticks into my house over a 2 week period until I finally got some repellant. And I live just south of Chicago. I don't know what caused that flare up but it haven't happened since. Lymes did...

On the hunt - gloves and boots

I completely agree. I have about 30,000 miles on mine and they are still as waterproof as day one. I will be getting another pair.

    Gerbring dual heat troller

Yes. At about 15 degrees I need my gloves full throttle. My liner only half that. I tried without the controller and was toasted.

And now for something completely different

What's wrong with a Ural? Haters, I tell ya. Actually this looks like an ad design from art school more than and actual ad for a proposed bike. Just my 2 cents.

That's just way cool. Nuff said.

MADCO throttle lock is nice addition to bike

I agree. Same thing happened when I ordered it. Hard to find vendors like him in this day and age.

    How many Motorcycles?

An 07 FJR and an 07 Ural. The FJR for long distance at a decent time. The Ural is great for back road trips and around the town. I have to admit the Ural is getting the most ride lately. I can't pack a weeks worth of groceries or take my dog with me on the FJR. And a nice slow ride along back...

    Does anyone own Bohn-Armor-Pants

I have a summer and winter set. They work and are pretty comfortable. Protected my hip very well when I had my tip over. They fit well under regular jeans.

    Absolute waterproof overpants

I don't know about the frogg toggs or the road toads being totally waterproof. They are great but for long distance or a very heavy downpour they came up short for me. While nothing poured through the suit, I was wet along the front zipper. I also have to admit it was raining like hell that...

    OK Midwesterners--Who Rode Today

18 degrees going in, 33 coming home. Damn weatherman!!! Snow wasn't suppose to come until tonight. It started about an hour after I got into work (7am). Well, it made the ride home very interesting. I was ready to walk it the last half mile on the side street. Now I have to get the salt off...

    OK Midwesterners--Who Rode Today

Rode in last night. You know I had to start the new year right. :yahoo: The only problem was the ignition and my hard cases locks were frozen. I guess my bike wasn't dry from the bath a few days ago. The ignition finally released the key but I had to use hot water to get the case open and...
