First time ever over three different FJRs. Guy at light comes up beside me and says nice looking bike and then -- What model BMW is it?!?

I've had this happen 1 time in Podunk, NC. Very small town, guys pulls up at a convenience store and asks how I like my FJR. Very strange....

I was leaving Big5 Sporting goods one day. This guy and his wife and kids are walking in. As I was putting stuff in my bags, he ca me over and told me, "Nice FJR." What year is that? We talked for a second and then he told his wife, "That things a rocket. You should feel it. I'm gonna get one one day."

He was very impressed. Knew what it was and who made it.
