This is MY bike... there are many like it, but this one is MINE.

Nice...looks like mine

Got a 300 mile break in ride planned on Saturday... headed up to Quail Creek Plantation to do some skeet shooting and then back down. Hopefully I can get the new zumo 595 mounted, sliders, and Givi tankring on prior to that...

This work crap really gets in the way.

Hi Guys, I got a price of $15,200 OTD for an ES with my 2006 in trade. Any advice?
After shopping around and coming very close to purchasing out of state, I stopped in at Cross Bay down on Sunrise. Go speak to Mac Flores before doing anything. The man talked straight, understood my concerns and just made the whole transaction fast and easy. I'd highly recommend giving him a shot.

You give them $15,200 and your 2006? Sounds as if you are getting $1000 for your 2006. You are the only one who can decide if that is fair.

Just over 600 miles on my A as of today. No remorse in selecting the A over an ES.

I believe his OTD price includes everything like tax and license. Tax around here (Seattle) would be another $1,500+-. ESs around here are going for $17.1k+-. So close to $19k all in OTD.

MSRP $17990/ my price $16617, dealer destination freight $399/ waived, assembly & prep $599/ waived, dealer fee $349 /NOT WAIVED...

So, from the $19317 "retail price" initially quoted I paid $16,966 plus tax/title/registration for my ES.

Dealer destination freight is included in the dealers cost, so if they try and charge you for it they are just piling on charges. Assembly is typically less than 2 hours, between $100 & $150. Many places waive that too. I have no idea what a "dealer fee" is??

All this being said, $16,966 is a fair price for both the seller and buyer! That's a bit less than they are selling for on the low end here in Seattle. D&H in AL sells them for $16k, no additional fees, tax and license not included. That's the lowest I've heard of, but you're talking rural AL......

Congrats on the new bike!! :)

Dealer fee is just pure profit for them... In some areas it's a common thing for dealers to throw on the pile just to run the numbers up. I was targeting $16,750 since I figured I could get a bike from D&H and have it shipped here for that. I got just a hair under KBB for my trade with them so the sales tax break (over $300) got me under that. Also, alleviated getting aggravated at the hassle of waiting to sell my old bike...

Congrats! In 6 months you won't care one way or another...you will just have your new Gen 3 baby.

Had my 600 mile service performed today. Checklist said throttle body sync was performed, and I noticed the benefits! Used to have a barely perceivable growl and shake if asked to pull below 2800 RPM. No more.
