Hopefully the roads closed list will be much shorter than the roads open list. Any other roads likely to be closed during yfo beside hwy 120?
Probably, but why worry. Guessing 108 (a damn shame), and definitely the road up to the top of Glacier Point in the park. Another damn shame. Too many good roads open to stress about it, though.

#4 Ebbetts pass (my favorite) will probably be closed, or at least not suitable for 2 wheels. But, as you say, there are plenty of great roads in the area. 49 north from Mariposa, up the old Priest's Grade, down the new one and back to Mariposa would be fun. Riding a road like that in the opposite direction is like riding a new road.

Well, by my math (which isn't always correct), we are now officially down to 3 months away from what is sure to be an epic event!!!

I'd like to make a motion that when we get to 2 months, we will change the vernacular to "weeks away". It just sounds sooner that way.

My biggest challenge at this point is this - how much fun can I cram into 16 days without over doing it? Every time I look at the map and start dreaming, I see something else that looks so inviting, even though it's "only 200 miles off the current loosely drafted route". Shoot - I could take 4500 miles to get to Yosemite if I wanted to!!! Once I get past Eastern Arizona/Utah, it's 95% uncharted water for Pants. With my camera and attitude, I'm like a dog that's been Kenneled for 24 hours. The doors opens and I'm so excited, I don't know which way to run!!

Just out of curiosity, I'd be interested in how many have signed up for this now? Tyler - if time permits, would you consider updating the original post?

First post has been updated as far as I can tell. If I missed someone, please let me know and I'll add you to the list.

FYI, as of 10 minutes ago, there was one more room in the reserved block and apartment A & C are still available. There are other rooms in the complex that they can add on to our group. Be sure to call to reserve and ask for Stormi. B)

Thanks, Tyler --

And as noted in the room share thread, I have a double (2 queens) reserved and would welcome someone to share it.

Gee wiz, this is shaping up to a mighty fine gathering. Think waterfalls and wildflowers, this will be the best June to visit California in many years. Trust Tyler, she knows of what she does.
