If the guy lived next door, I'd already own the bike. But, it's a long drive with a trailer, so I'm not sure I want to do that.

Major problem, seller does not have title. He lives quite a distance away, so we were going to meet half way. I don't see any way to work it now without going all the way there, I probably won't do that.

Thanks for the info. I've had the exact same response as you to dealer inquiries. Less than a 50% response rate, and I just sold a Rune, so I'm a cash buyer. I tell them my buying time is immediate, no trade, cash in hand, no repsonse. I've had others tell me that a lot of dealers don't use...

jride, Did you make a decision yet? I keep going back and forth, right now I'm leaning toward the FJR, trying to find a very low mileage bike, can't find any within a 250 mile radius in the last 2 months.

I know of them from reading this site, but haven't called them yet. I've been focusing on trying to locate a used Concours 14 or FJR.

That $12,299 + tax is almost exactly the same best deal I could get on a new 2009 ABS model, and I've contacted at least 15 dealers. I'm not even going to bother looking at a new FJR, just too expensive.

jride, What kind of pricing are you getting on the FJR and Concours 14 ABS? I'm getting much better pricing on the Concours.

I'm in the same situation. If I could get a FJR at about the same price as the C14, I'd be a lot more interested in the FJR. The C14 3 year warranty is very nice too.

Just got a quote on an '09, 14,586 OTD, no extras of any kind. After doing a lot of searching on this site, doesn't sound like a decent price at all?
