Kinda like that, but.......................................you don't have to drink the water.

I live two hours up the river from La Crosse and I'm tempted to stop down and say HELLO to everyone on Thursday the 18th. I can't come down the 19th or 20th. I am debating spending the night.

Would I be a complete shuckster for just showing up at the hotel and say "HOLA" and drink some brews at the hotel without paying the $65?

(I'm an engineer and I don't get social stuff that's why I'm asking)

No problem, nothing the the rally fee covers starts until Friday but you'll miss out on the cool shirt and the souvineer name badge :eek:mg: If you do get a room tell them you in the "NAFO block" that will save you a couple of bucks and make the rally look better in the eyes of the hotel. Come on down!

That's good to know. I see the FJR rate is one dollar less than the fed gov't rate I'd get otherwise. No need for a shirt either.

So I was checking out the routes on the website and was wondering, if I had to choose one, any recommendations on which one? I'll be participating in the Rally Rallye on Friday so covering some ground on that I'd imagine. What else should I not miss?? So many roads, so little time! ;)

Everyone who has run most of these routes is going to have his favorites. You can't go wrong with most any one of them. My suggestion is go with the group that you find yourself most comfortable with on Friday when running Rally Rally and the people you meet at the Friday night mixer. After the open house at Two Brothers Powersports on Saturday morning groups just seem to form up and leave the parking lot headed for their selected destinations.

So what's to choose from there's only 3400 miles of routes :eek:mg:

TS is right, after the Rally Rallye you can see which direction you didn't go on Friday and pick a route or group that's going somewhere new.

Straight through the lobby to the bar, shouldn't be missed.

Rick, I signed up Stan-Lee da Steamer and paid via my email/ PP account. It looks like it went to the nafofour@... email acct.

Let me know if there is any problems and sorry, da'Steamer is not very computer friendly ;)
