2015 Black Hills FJR Roundup 25-28 June 2015

[NorCal FJR]

​Leaving tomorrow can't wait, and I got a last minute room at Bell's, so I won't be staying at the Travelers Inn.

Took the bike out today for the first time since I was told by a podiatrist that I injured my Achilles (not sure exactly how, but it has been so painful that I could not put any weight on it earlier this week). Riding was a not a problem but I found my riding boots put too much pressure on my Achilles to be comfortable. So, now I wait to see if the tendon will heal enough to wear my usual shoes or if I need to don my leather boots instead.

Regardless, I plan to be in Spearfish Thursday. Like my ride to Arkansas in March, it will take much more than a little low-side accident or injury to my foot to stop me from riding to a great area of roads and friends!

Four more days until we start our two day ride to the Black Hills!!

I'm so jealous. My bike is still in Vegas and I'm home in Illinois still waiting to see a specialist about my neck/back/arm problems. I would love to be there next week. I'm praying that I will be ready for CFO & Hooterville.
