I'll need to get my Piaa horns mounted, and get the fuse block wired up again. Maybe get the Radar detector wired...if I can get the new connection, in time.

The idea is to re-use the right side cover gaskets, but if we rip one, we replace it. You will not go wrong if you bring one. RTV in an emergency. There is a set of spares if any get lost/broken. I believe Wayne has spare valve cover gasket.

O-rings - (2) 93210-18417-00 for all Gens.

O-ring - (1) 93210-23787-00 additionally for Gen 1

Gasket, right engine - 5JW-15456-11-01 5JW-15456-00-00
CCT - IMC-12210-00-00 (previous was 5JW-12210-10-00)Gasket - 5JW-12213-00-00

Ordered. With one change noted in red. I think the other one was for a different year. But I really want to thank RaY for helping me out already.

Ooooh, a shiny new one! Can I touch it?

Set myself a reminder to check for wire tonight, but I think we're going to need some.

Tim,

I still have the wires that you mounted it with last year on the 06 (took it off before selling the bike)...I can bring more wire, let me know which AWG you'd like. I should be good with wires for connecting the Piaa horns.

Joe, the '06 had two feeds, one for each horn. The GenIII's only have one horn connection on the left side, so you need to make up a jumper to go to the other side, along with the appropriate spade connectors....... assuming you're not installing a relay into the circuit and run both PIAA's off the OEM circuit as we've done in the past.

Ray, the Piaa's come with the required jumper wires. I will have them already to go, as far as altering the one end, with double spade connectors.

You're talking the from the battery to the Fuzeblock right? I think we used 12 or 14 AWG for that. And if you're planning on mounting it in the same spot, I think that will be fine. Didn't we put it by the taillight last time? 16-18 AWG is fine for the peripherals. Just need to make sure it is multi-strand and not solid core. I hate solid core.

I really do need to re-examine my electrical setup. It has gotten very sloppy. Not sure I'll get that done while I'm there, but I can do that a different day. Fuzeblock didn't seem necessary when I first started out, but now all this extra stuff is there, I should probably get one.

I'm not sure where I can mount the fuse block. There is some sort of module in the tail of the 16, where I had it mounted on the 06. That being said, if I can't find a place to mount it, I'll just wire the pigtail for my heated gear directly to the battery, and give you the Centech AP1 and relay.

I will borrow some wire from my employer...

Going to have to figure out how to get to the place I am staying for the night if the bike is cooling off.
If you're staying at the Pines, coordinate with AllenC. Our host will assist with carting us between the sheep pen and the hotel(s). I will PM you the address for the sheep pen.Speaking of our host, I spoke with him last night. They had to put Dukie down yesterday, so the place isn't gonna have a blind dog walking in to things. But let's do a quick roll call - who's going?* Geek and Sooze* Ray* 'Fitter* DesignFlaw* Naskie* Joe (the el toro one)* Pista* AllenC and guest* Cav* TommyKay* extrememarine* FJRfarrier* oface* BlacknWhite23* bseelbach* deagle* BugR (maybe?)* zed88 (maybe?)Did I miss anyone? And if anyone needs the address, let me know!

Did you ride enough last year to even need service!? ;)

I think Tommy Kay and I will be riding up from Richmond Friday morning. We will probably roll out from there around 11ish. I heard Griff may be coming that way. If anyone wants to meet up, let Tommy Kay or myself know. If you need my cell, I will provide. I will get the address from Allen and we are staying at the pines.

So that's explains why I run out of beer on Saturday afternoon, then hafta drink that pony piss they call beer on that side of the border......... but I hear there's a new item on the agenda, for all the curious, test rides on a nice blue 2016 that we're hoping gets delivered to the owner in the next few weeks!!
Don't let dem-dare' fozen tundrians brag too much about their beer, it ain't all that (anymore!).. and this below article coming from a Canadian publication...

I’m 100 per cent confident that we’re getting beer quality on both sides of the border

(I would add-in that we are getting bull piss on both sides as well)

Now we're talking........

Kanadians (& Amerks) can only dream about this standard of excellence!

did ride quite a bit just don't really have anything that needs to be done. Might just run gopher

I can help with taxi and food/beer runs - I'll probably wimp out and bring the car instead of riding in the rain with Andy so I'll have room!
