Taking orders now.

It can be mounted to either handlebar reservoir. (left or right side)

The mounting plate will be fastened by the existing reservoir cover. It will be supplied with both screws and thumb screws, depending if you prefer a permenant mount or a quick release type setup.

This mounting plate will not interfere with my Audiovox CC mount.

I have also been kicking around the idea of making a taller 2 piece version that will allow somewhere to hide the excess cable that is not needed for a motorcycle application, but for now will offer what you see. If/when I decide to offer the taller version, it will be compatible with what you see here.

Machined from 6061 T6 aluminum.

Price $35 delivered (37.00 via Paypal to [email protected])

Snail mail a check if you prefer payable to Ian Laing, sent to the following address:

These are ready to go if your interested. I will not be supplying security torx with this mount as I had earlier thought about doing, it will be a PITA to get at them for tightening.

Instead it will be supplied with socket cap head screws and thumb screws, with anti-vibration washers. The thumb screws will be red in color, in order to aid the poor soul who may drop one. Extras of all fasteners will be supplied just in case.

Cool. My check will be in the mail either today or tomorrow. Whats the estimated build/ship time on these bad-boys anyway?

So why isn't it at my door already?
You crack me up Scooter.

Ride on over and i'll even fit it for you. See for dinner this evening? :D

They will be going out on Monday.

Did you get Version 5.0 for your 2730 yet?

Nope. Only have what you installed the other weekend for me. I was helping a friend move last weekend and this week I've been finishing a long over due ride report on the SPANK rally. I've got some riding planned for this weekend, so I'll mess with my GPS Friday night and check out the results Saturday. I'll be in familliar areas so getting lost if the thing takes a dive will be a non-issue.

I'm just gonna paypal you the money and save a stamp. You should have it by the time you get home tonight!

Here's how the mount and puck look mounted on the bike. The finish is a fine bead blast which also makes the surface ready for paint if you choose to go this route. Mine will end up rattle can semi gloss black.

Since the screws that hold the puck are so small and easy to loose, I also added 2 tapped holes as a place to store them for the times that the puck is removed from the bike.

I choose red over black for the thumb screws in the event of dropping one on the ground. I figure they would be more easily spotted (there are also extra screws if you choose to opt for a permanent setup and don't want to use the thumb screws)

People with the stemstand GPS mount, can you see the GPS over a tankbag? I can hardly see the instruments overtop of my tank bag. I'm on the short end (5'8"), so that might have something to do with it as well.

At 6'2"/32" inseam I can see my gauges but the idiot lights aren't easily visible. I run the Yamaha touring tank bag.
