    FJR or HD Roadking

Don't have a Road King but have an Ultra Classic. Had an 08 FJR which I loved. I bought the Ultra for my wife to ride with me because she didn't like long trips on the FJR. I ended up riding the Ultra all the time. Sold the FJR. Retired I couldn't see two in the garage. Harleys ain't fast...

    FJR is leaving

Sure hated to see it go. Seemed to run sooo good takeing it to the air port to meet the new owner. He sure left with a big smile. Ain't riding with a harley bunch. Most riders I ride with are goldwing, metric cruisers , a few harley mixed in. A few metric sport bikes. I'll still be...

    FJR is leaving

Sold my fjr. It will be leaving for Houston tomorrow. It is going into good hands. A man that already has one and can appreciate another. I will miss it. The best of rides. It and my old Honda 750 four. Can't see keeping two bikes and my wife likes the harley lounge seat on my 09 ultra...

A 2007 FJR1300A is finally going to be in my garage!!!

You would have had a shorter trip and a newer bike if you would have bought mine. I live near Lake Charles. I rode mine yesterday to keep the battery up and its still a smashing ride. Just jolly good fun you know.

Help! What to do about dear old Dad?

 I bought an 09 ultra loaded and the FJR stayes in the garage most of the time. It's only better from 80 to 150 anyway and you got to many jackboots in Lousyana to go that fast. Not a whole lot of curves either. The harley shakes like Elvis at idle but it is actually smother at...

Does an Australian enquiry scare you people?

That Aussie is just jacking with us. I gave him a good deal and he whined that the milage was too high. I guess at 16000 these FJRs are just unreliable. Even with three plus years of YES left on it. Don't believe he really want's one.

Does an Australian enquiry scare you people?

I still got mine. I haven't been trying to sell it. Will probably list it in the spring or when it warms up down here which is about March. Its in perfect shape. Never been in rain except one light cloudburst for about two miles. Kept covered in a garage. Has over three years of yes left.

    Still Riding!!!!!

Still riding here too. There are rainy days but it is seldom too cold to ride. Maybe a few weeks scattered through the winter months you are uncomfortable without a lot of layering.

Sore Neck/Shoulder muscles after longer FJR rides

An harley ultra glide is comfortable but it is slow. I tried one out and could not believe how comfortable they are but they run out of air about 95. Like someone said, you can put up with the discomfort for the speed and fun. The fjr is a butt killer for me.

I wonder where Toe got that picture of me. I don't carry a shotgun though, just a 45.

    big brother for FJR

They are not fast but they are very smooth and comfortable. I still have leathers from my Roadstar days but don't wear them. The intake jacket and pants are just too good. It was like driving a big oldsmobile with a glasspack.

    big brother for FJR

 Offered a good deal on a 09ultraglide classic. Only 1500 miles. The new frames are supposed to handle a lot better. They have a bigger tank and larger rear tire. Going to ride it today.
