Jeez Marie Rich, I'm fat, but Thank God, not that fat!

Not into headbands or Ugg boots either; or ugly thongs!

Here you go Barb, I'm exactly this fat; posing as Bust!

Don*, as you know, it is Big-D that we have to thank for the thong on the stairs visual. I am, however, relieved to know that you'd wear a different colored G-string next time if you knew it was a photo op. (Do those things come in 3 packs of varying colors like boxers?)

*BTW, it is my understanding that we're all old and fat -- something to do with riding FJRs. I read it on the internet.

On 12/23: https://www.tourismnewbrunswick.ca/VisitorsGuide.aspx Okay der Hosers, I've ordered up our New Brunswick 2011 Visitor's Guide. Won't get it until April, they said that they are out working on the roads; Beauty, Eh!"

I am pleased to announce that my New Brunswick Carte Touristique Officielle - Official Travel Map arrived in today's mail here in Chandler; Excellent Service. The New Visitor's Guide still comes out on April 1st.

Nice map with a great mileage table, only 219 miles from Truro, where we rent our FJR, to Fredericton. I see you have Indian Gaming Casinos, just like Arizona. Fredericton to Miramichi is just 112 miles away.

Damn it MEM! Why didn't you know about Biker's B&B when I asked about rentals several months ago!

Looks like I may just have to stay in the Hot Tub all day... the venue has a Hot Tub, doesn't it???
wink.gif

As Cabin Fever sets in...

I'm Mapsourcing possible routes up to Fredricton. Looks like I could slab it up the Maine Turnpike and get there in only 6 hours of grueling boredom. Been there, done that. Or, I could turn that into 2 days of doodling around in Maine on roads I've never been down before and save the slabbing for the ride home (from Cape Bretton). Or vice versa depending on how the weather works out.

It looks like there are no E-W roads above Dover-Foxcroft. So maybe a loop up through the lakes region of western Maine to Rangeley (been there, but love it) and then across through D-F. What's the border crossing like in Vanceboro?

Been away far too long... I missed the last two. I'll be damned if I miss this ride. Sign me up for one please. I would prefer a bed, I will share space with anyone willing to pair up with another Ontarian. Please advise ASAP.

I dunno Greg.... Those Ontarian's are a strange breed

It's a bridge, US on South side, Canada on North side. Small border crossing, 1 car at a time, and I don't suspect any great amount of traffic anytime of the year.

The airline (Route 9) from Bangor to Calais is a nice ride on the FJR. Roads been very much improved over the years but it's still up and down hills and never long than 1 mile of straight road.

Note: 30 mph over the speed limit is a criminial offense and they watch this road even though it's the boonies. Been there, done that, hand cuffed and then warned, twas a bad day.

Nice thing about NB is they don't pull a gun on you, fines are much cheaper than other provinces and you more likely to get a flash of the lights by the popo than you are to actually get a ticket.

Fred We will probably be at our camp in Rangeley prior to CFR. :yahoo: If you want to ride up together from there let me know.

That sounds like a great idea, Jack.

I'll keep you posted on our travel plans once we actually make some. ;)

Are you kids considering taking a side trip to Nova Scotia (after CFR) too?
