RTE in Quincy, Sat. June 22

I may drop by to say hello to the NorCal gang, probably closer to you guys finishing lunch.
Tentatively it looks like we'll be riding the twisties form Reno down to Oroville then up the fun Quincy-LaPorte road (that road is so boring, I wish Norcal had better roads

) on our way to Lake Almanor. We'll be leaving Reno around the same time (maybe a tad earlier) you guys split from Lake O.

We'll see.

Oh Boy Simon, would be nice to see you in our hood. Do you still have my cell? I will have with me and it works in Quincy

Get out of Reno early and meet us in Grass Valley, we are only an hour and a half west.

You want me to get up early? pffffft. We'll be doing the BBQ Brews & Blues in Reno Friday night a great time put pon by The El Dorado Casino. They shut down a few blocks of Virginia street and it's a huge party. Look my post from last year on this.

Anyway, I'll try to meet up with you guys in Quincy if we're not running late and taking too many pix.

Its seems I spoke too soon about being able to make this ride. I forgot to check with the boss first, and she had already made plans for that day. There still is an outside chance, but more likely no.

I have taken the road from Quincy thru La Port several times, but being I am from Reno I always seem to go backwards..lolol

Now there is a nice place to eat in Brownsville, just past the Gold Eagle Market gas station it is call Annie Ruth's Cafe. It's towards the airport, has a good selection of food, 7 days a week, open for breakfest plenty of room to sit down. About 20-22 miles up the road from the Cheveron at Hwy 20

Lee in Reno, we may have to try that place another time. Been by it many times but never stopped.

On another note it looks like we are headed to Fast Fridays on Friday night in Auburn for some speedway racing. Let me know if anyone else here will be there as we usually sit in the smaller bleachers on the east side.
