Ojai ride Sunday July 1st

You may indeed join our ride, the only thing is i just got back from dinner and a few beverages (well ok several) and i have no idea where the fuck you are talking about so i will leave the meet place to TWN.

In order to make schedule, I don't plan on stopping, so anyone who wants to join needs to be on the gas as we go by. We won't be hard to miss, what with all the cripples in the group...

By the way, how the fuck did I get appointed ride captain?

I didn't know we had a Captain. More like you are the only one who knows the way.

Barry is wussing out on us, I dont think he want to drop his bike again (for a few weeks anyway).

There si only one cripple that i am aware of and that would be the dog himself. I think someone thru a stick for him to fetch and he tripped over it and twisted his ankle.

Heading up north today, might catch you tomorrow morning. Love the new Pirelli so far (rear is on order, front changed yesterday, breaking it in). If I'm not there by 8:15a, I ain't comin. If the meet location changes, please call (PM sent to Jd and twowheelnut with my cell). Unless something happens, I'll only have email and cell access via crackberry, not access to this website.

Silent and I are planning to head down from the Bay Area to meet you bums for lunch in Creston, wherever the hell that is. We're planning to meet probably between 8 and 8:30 at Hwys 680 and 101, then head down 101. We'll come home via Hwy 1 for some fun in the sun during the afternoon.

So, if y'all don't mind, I'd like to ride down from Bakersfield and meet you at the corner of Lockwood Valley Rd. and Frazier Mt. Pk, Road (at the Pizza Shop). I'll plan to be there ~9:15ish. I'm familiar with the route(s) described thus far. Will likely tag along over towards the coast and return on 33 towards Bakersfield (after sticking my toes in the water at Avila Beach).

Look forward to meeting all you characters!

No GPS. The Zumo is not here yet and the 276C is boxed and read to ship to Heidi, so I just gonna whet my finger and see which way the Strom takes me. Yeah, that's right, the Strom. FJR is still up on it's centerstand sans wheel, brake caliper and 1 rotor bolt. Why is nothing ever in stock in California? :glare:

HELP!!!! HELP!!!

I'm at the Hilton Garden Inn Calabasas right now, drove up from San Diego.

Stopped at San Altos to get a new rear, so I'm on nice tasty Stradas and have them about scrubbed in and feeling great.

I've read back over the thread (from the hotel shared computer) now that I have time to relax, and I'm corn-fused.

Did I go too far north? Was I supposed to meet you guys down in LA at the 101? I thought twowheelnut said to be at the 76 in Ojai at 8:30am????

Did I just miss part of the ride by coming up this far by myself???

Someone in charge please post a list of meeting times and places, since it sounds like different folks plan at being at different points along the way. Sorry, I'm new to all this and was expecting a more unified source/statement of information, all the replies and reply/reply/reply nested stuff got very confusing to my pea brain.

If I'm already in Calabasas (Oxnard). I have my gps, as well as the crackberry's google maps and access to email, just someone get in touch with me and give me a definitive answer, please. Thanks in advance.

twowheelnut and jdog have my direct contact info. PM's to me here won't do much good after I log off and go back to my room, but I'll try to check again in the morning before breakfast.
