I sold my M109R yesterday and I had made about 20 ride videos over the last 2yr years with it. I use the HD GoPro camera. I hope to be purchasing my first FJR bike tomorrow and I'll no doubt continue making some ride videos from time to time on that bike as well & sharing them here if you guys are interested in watching that kind of stuff. Me & my wife ride together (when we're not working & raising kids & paying bills) & we get up to the southern Appalachian mountains of north GA, TN & NC as much as we can.

This video was earlier this summer and includes roads around lake Santeetlah in Robbinsville, NC, The tail of the Dragon and the Blue Ridge Parkway between Cherokee & Asheville, NC.

I just thought I'd share them with ya'll.

Man that was a great video. I went back there, Asheville, a couple of years ago. That part of the country is beautiful. In CA we may have the year round weather, but the landscape isn't anything compared to that!

Very cool 'Endless Road' video! Makes me want to run out and buy a video cam like that to document my own rides. Good job.

Thanks for sharing.

I travelled the Blue Ridge for the first time by Feejer this summer as part of my 4k trip across America (north to south anyways...) I got on just east of Asheville and headed north about 280 miles or so. I slept in my tent under the stars (and mosquitoes) in one of the BR parkway camp grounds. REALLY ENJOYED that. I wanted to make the trip in part to test out my Exalto CT on those curves. It did not disappoint. I didn't shoot any videos, so yours will certainly "do." Thanks for the memories...

Excellent videos and and even better music choices!

I like the riding in the rain part of the "If today was your last day video", but where exactly is that waterfall that flows up at the "Dangerous Overlook"?

Does you better-half handle most of the on-bike video duties?
That was actually in Alabama at DeSoto Falls. That's a nice area to ride as well and just south along the "Little River Canyon".

I use several different camera mount locations and if my wife is riding with me she'll do some handheld stuff for me as well. It usually works out pretty good.

I'm looking forward to riding back on the BRP in NC in early September. That should be my first chance to film a ride on the FJR and post one on here.

The finest part of the BRP is the section south of Asheville over to Cherokee. It's remains what the BRP was originally envisioned to be. Don't miss that section on your next visit.

I've ridden that stretch several times and I would have to agree with you. Riding between 5000' - 6000' on this stretch of the BRP with long range vista views around seemingly every curve is what it's all about!!!

Yea, that's what its like. Makes one homesick for Waynesville, NC
I like Waynesville quite a bit. I almost moved their several years ago. Cute downtown and right in the heart of the mountains. I would have never left if I was you! :)
