Well, I didn't get to ride my favorite local-ish mountain route this weekend... Headed for Deals Gap instead. On the first return run I counted ten curves where I was dragging peg and plenty more where I was in hefty speeding ticket territory, so I'd say it's doing the trick for me. Smooth is fast and it's a whole lot easier for me to be smooth in T.

Also got to take a Vulcan S on a demo ride. Fun little thing with a distinct lack of power and lean angle.

I've just bought a 15 plate fjr, my other bike is a Hayabusa...... Will i be ok in "S" mode

A while back I sent my ECU to 'Ivan ' for a flash. That smooths out the shifting, eliminates the 80 mph CC limitation, and adds a 3rd drive mode. He calls it NORMAL and it feels like 85 % Sport. I stay there most of the time ... unless I'm in a hurry. https://www.ivansperformanceproducts.com/
